Raised in a food-obsessed family, his childhood pantry was a treasure trove of garden-grown preserves and decadent terrines. After honing his craft at culinary school and working in high-end kitchens across France and Australia, Lionel founded L’Artisan in 2017.
What began as a holiday in 2002 turned into a lifelong mission to bring the soul of the French countryside to his adopted home in Melbourne.
